All the elements that make the perfect wedding film came together for Leah and James when they tied the knot at Fanhams Hall on April 4th.

I love it when a couple really understand what i’m trying to achieve when I shoot their wedding. Having decided on one of our short form style ‘Best Bits’ they chose Holley Maher’s ‘Perfect Day’ to accompany it. Song choice is key when it comes to wedding films and especially so with the short form style. Perfect Day works so well with the footage and it’s no surprise that the song was specifically written for use in event and wedding filmmaking. Mixing the instrumental sections of the song with audio taken from their beautiful wedding vows and ceremony really ties the entire edit together and gives it a much more cinematic feel.

A joy to film and edit, my best wishes go out to them both for the future. Enjoy.

Clare + Mark

Filmed at Knebworth Church and Almshoebury Farm, these are Clare and Mark’s wedding highlights. Set to Elbow’s modern classic ‘One day like this’ and coming in at over six minutes, this is possibly the longest ‘Best Bits’ we’ve ever produced. Fortunately we had more than enough great footage shot from the bridal preparations all the way to the first dance.

Filmed at Melbourn Church and South Farm and Set to Mariah Carey’s version of ‘I Want To Know What Love Is’ here is Lucy and Terry’s entire day summed up into three stunning minutes. A lovely couple and a great day (even if it did rain) The couple had some great entertainment lined up at the reception and were really fun to work with which always makes the day run smoothly.
