These shots sum up what was an absolutely stunning day filming Lisa and Luke at St Michaels Manor Hotel. With so much going on we certainly had our work cut out shooting everything from belly dancers to the amazing evening sparkler display. Here’s the finished film, congratulations guys, you were awesome.
Its on days like this that I really love my job and this was certainly evident when all the elements came together at Leanne and Scott’s wedding. As hardened as I have become after 7 years of filming weddings there are still moments where the emotions of the day rub off on me and when a couple are so obviously in love like these two are it becomes a joy to share their special day.
To say that Leanne & Scotts big day was high on emotion would be an understatement. From Scotts letter to Leanne in the morning to the hilarious and poignant speeches after the wedding breakfast at Rectory Farm, tears of joy flowed all day.
A pleasure and an honour, here is their wedding film.
I love it when an outdoor wedding doesn’t get rained off. Up until half an hour before the ceremony Stacey and Ryan’s alternative indoor option had been prepped for the wedding as heavy rain was forecast. When the Westmill Farm staff gave the thumbs up the staff went into a hive of activity, busily readying the wonderful outdoor pagoda and moving all of the guest chairs.
Befitting the Twilight theme, we’ve used Christina Perri’s ‘A Thousand Years’ to play out their wedding highlights or ‘Best Bits as we like to call them.
